Chamber gas flux and water chemistry data, 2012, Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.

Wickland, Kimberly

This dataset contains information obtained from the Prudhoe Bay field site in 2012. Eighteen gas flux measurements locations were established along a transect that included terrain classified according to state of ice wedge degradation. Gas flux measurement and water chemistry analyses were also performed in 16 inundated troughs, or ponds, and 3 lakes near the transect. Flux measurements of methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2) were made; a total of 201 CH4 flux measurements, and 331 CO2 flux measurements were made. Water samples were collected from soil pore waters where available, and from ponds and lakes on select field campaigns, for a total of 52 samples.
